COVID-19 Update

How We Keep Churchgoers and Staff Safe Amidst COVID-19

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Hello DC Family,

We at Daniel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church wish you peace and blessings during this difficult time.  We are working diligently to build a safe and healthy environment for all of our members and their families and friends. The church is open for worship services (Sunday School on Sundays at 9:30am in the fellowship hall and worship service in the sanctuary at 11am).

The leadership of Daniel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Chapel is still committed to doing our part to keep everyone safe. To uphold this commitment, the below practices are being followed:

  • All Daniel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church related meetings will be held via Zoom (online) in place of face-to-face interactions.
  • Although government restrictions have been lifted, masks are available to anyone that wishes to use one.
  • COVID take home tests are also available to anyone that wants one.

It is our greatest hope that you stay safe and healthy. Our prayers are with each person impacted by the virus and our community as we navigate together what comes next.  Remember that COVID is still active, as is the flu, pneumonia, RSV and the common cold.  Vaccinations for each of these are encouraged and pray that you will follow your doctor's instructions for your personal health.

Stay encouraged, DC. We are family!
