December 24, 2023 - 4th Sunday in Advent. Monday, December 25 - Christmas Day! Worship service at 10am. Youth will present a skit during the worship service. Wednesday, December 27 - Saturday, December 30 - Winter meeting of the Christian Education Department in Raleigh, NC. Sunday, December 31 - New Year's Eve. Watch Night Service at Martin Temple AME Zion Church (6930 S. Cottage Grove, Chicago, IL) at 7pm. Dinner will be served following the worship service. Monday, January 1 - New Year's Day for 2024. Saturday, January 6 - Virtual Mental Health Awareness Seminar at 10am. Complete the registration form and place in the offering tray today along with the $15 registration marked under "Missionaries". Connection information will be provided to all who register. Boards and Administrative meetings begin at 11am on Zoom. Saturday, January 13 - 2nd Checkup meeting for the Michigan Annual Conference. Connection information will be provided when received. Wednesday, January 17 - WEW meeting at 6pm. Saturday, January 20 - 3rd Quarterly Conference. Reports are due to Debra Mayo ([email protected]) and to [email protected] by Wednesday, January 17th. Sunday, January 21 - Youth & children's Sunday. December is World Hunger Month. Please support the efforts of the Missionary Department to make a difference in the lives of others during this month. Join in Bible Study at 7pm every Thursday on Zoom. If you are unable to, you can view the session later by going to the Media tab on the church website.
